SOUNDBOKS was founded in 2014 by three Danish high school friends, Jesper, Christoffer and Hjalte, who wanted more out of their portable speaker experience. They wanted to break through the noise and do things differently.

The SOUNDBOKS have created a product that crosses over both portable Bluetooth speakers and traditional PA systems. This allows people to throw big parties and events without worrying about external power sources or complicated setups.

Made of the most durable high quality birth plywood that is strengthened by a powder-coasted aluminium frame with flight case-style ball corners you will never have to worry about whether it will rain or we have another heat wave, because SOUNDBOKS has been designed to be unfazed by snow, rain, sun and extreme temperatures.

SOUNDBOKS 2 are great for every occasion from a live concert to a garden party. With the volume up at max you have a battery life of 8 hours but it will blow you away with 122dB which is comparable with the sound of thunder, or you can blast the songs out at half volume at 104 dB and have a battery live of up to 100 hours which still compares to being close to a helicopter! With the Batteryboks you can have up to 40 hours on average and can be recharged in around 3 hours. With LiFePO4 battery type you have 3000 charge cycles, compared to 500 with a standard Li-ION. The batteryboks is 25% more temperature resistant as well, allowing it to handle temperatures from -4 to + 125 °F. The battery is less toxic and thereby better for the environment and as the LiFePO4 technology is safer than the Li-ION technology, you can even bring your batteryboks in your carry-on when you take a flight.

Custom 10” woofers and neodymium silk dome tweeter deliver booming lows and clear, crisp highs resulting in unbelievable 120° rich premium sound from a portable battery-powered speaker. A patented psychoacoustic design and complex Digital Signal Processing programming with dynamic bass boosting make the SOUNDBOK 2 capable of pushing deep and punchy bass all the way down to 40Hz.

Using class D amplification they can power the 10” woofers and dynamic tweeters 4.5 times more efficiently than the typical living room stereo amplifier. As SOUNDBOKS’ custom-made amplifier translates over 92% of the power from the battery directly into acoustic power, it allows the speaker to achieve an extremely high output with long battery life.
